Base Charter Rates:
All base rates displayed are weekly charter base prices, unless otherwise indicated. A "week" is defined as seven (7) nights.

Shorter Charters:
For charters shorter than seven (7) nights, rates are generally calculated as follows:
(Charter Base Price ÷ 6) × Number of Charter Nights
However, please note that some yachts may have specific minimum booking periods or other special conditions. Contact us for precise quotes.

Important Additional Considerations:
These costs are typically not included in the base charter price and should be factored into your budget:

• Gratuity: Not included. Industry standard gratuity is typically 15–25% for charters in the Caribbean, Bahamas, USA, and Canada; and 10–15% in other global destinations

• APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): Approximately 15–25% of the charter base price for sailing yachts and 25–35% for motor yachts, payable in addition to the charter fee. This covers expenses such as food, beverages, fuel, and dockage

• VAT (Value-Added Tax): VAT rates are subject to change and vary depending on local regulations, the vessel's flag, and the specific cruising itinerary

• Cruising Permits and Local Fees: Additional charges may apply depending on the cruising areas, local legislation, and seasonal requirements. These can include national park fees, port taxes, and other local levies

4. Central Yacht Agent (CYA) Data Usage

YACHTISSIMO uses indexed data provided through the Central Yacht Agent (CYA) API. This includes yacht details, specifications, rates, descriptions, and availability. We rely on data from central agents and yacht providers. While we strive for accuracy, we assume no liability for errors, outdated information, or changes made by providers. 7. Insurance Terms & Conditions

Bareboat Yacht Charter: The yacht is insured for liability and hull damage. Charterers’ deposit covers the deductible. Insurance does not cover personal injury, belongings, or damages caused by negligence, intoxication, or violations. Unreported damages may result in full liability.

Crewed Yacht Charter: The yacht and crew are insured, but guests are not covered under the yacht’s policy. All guests must have their own travel and medical insurance.

Important Note: We strongly recommend obtaining travel, liability, and baggage insurance for all charters.
